The stats consistently illustrate that women represent the most valuable talent in the world & are the key to unlocking a better world for all. Yet we face the “unseen, yet unbreachable barrier “Glass Ceiling” that keeps minorities & women from rising to the upper rungs of the corporate ladder, regardless of their qualifications or achievements.”
Caitlin Iles (Cait), has been described by Australia’s former Prime Minister The Honorable Julia Gillard, as “an inspiring and powerful role model for women”, while Sir Richard Branson has called her “a game-changer and force to be reckoned with”.
She’s an entrepreneur with international experience (United Arab Emirates, USA & Europe) and as a venture capitalist and active angel investor; Cait has received pitches from hundreds of start-ups over the last couple of years. As a result, she knows what drives individuals and businesses to succeed or fail.
“I am passionate about unlocking & investing in underutilised human potential through entrepreneurship, to create a measurably better world. As a result, I am currently focussed on launching a new EduTech company that will educate & invest in undervalued, high potential entrepreneurial talent to produce measurable impact & above industry standard returns. As a venture capitalist, I’ve helped establish the largest portfolio of early stage startups in Australia. Personally (as an angel), I invest in brave mavericks with globally scalable & disruptive ideas that solve real & big problems. As a dyslexic, I’m an unlikely educator, I advise start-ups & enterprise on how to collaborate, capitalise & thrive on the disruption that the new economy provides.”
Cait will share her incredible journey, insights and tips into being a female leader and a successful entrepreneur.
